Inspiration & Craftsmanship

We are guided by a passion for sustainability and the artistry of tradition. Our eco-friendly, handmade products are carefully woven by artisans, many from families with multi-generational skill. With every piece, we honor Mother Earth, blending timeless weaving techniques with exceptional quality and detail.

Brothers Tunc and Fatih share a lifelong passion for textiles, inspired by their grandmother’s silk production in 19th-century Cide, a Silk Road harbour in Turkiye. Growing up in Switzerland and later immersing themselves in Istanbul’s thriving textile industry, they built nearly 50 years of combined experience.

Tunc studied Fine Arts with a focus on textiles, while Fatih pursued Mathematics and Statistics, centering his thesis on Turkiye’s textile industry. Fatih went on to spend almost 20 years as a luxury buyer for Harry Rosen, one of Canada’s most prestigious retailers, where he saw the power of sustainable luxury over mass production. This vision inspired him to found Minoa, a circular luxury brand rooted in timeless craftsmanship and eco-conscious design.

Today, the brothers create functional, sustainable, and luxurious home accessories that combine tradition, quality, and style—pieces designed to last for generations.
